COENZYME Q10

Coenzyme Q10 is an enzyme found in the mitochondria (energy centers of cells) of all living cells. The cells produce the energy they need for their own functioning by oxidizing (slowly burning) nutrients. This process requires coenzyme Q10 in plants, animals and humans. This coenzyme is also produced in the human body, but it rapidly decreases with age, starting from the third decade of life. Organs and organ systems that use large amounts of energy are the first to suffer: heart, brain, muscles, liver and kidneys. Since it occurs in all cells of nature, it is also present in our food. Foods of plant origin have a low content of coenzyme Q10 (living organisms with low energy requirements), by definition animal meat, liver, kidney and marrow contain significant amounts. At the same time, the natural coenzyme Q10 is absorbed only to a small extent and depending on the circumstances. Depending on the food consumed together, only 20 – 30%! Coenzyme Q10 cannot be linked to organs or organ systems, or to specific diseases. But it is essential for all vital functions, because all vital functions require energy. The decrease in coenzyme Q10 experienced around the age of 30-40 is associated with the onset of many age-related degenerative conditions: the development of cardiovascular diseases (coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, heart failure, liver cirrhosis), declining immune defenses (susceptibility to infections and diseases, but also malignant degeneration of cells) , with the occurrence of neurodegenerative conditions (forgetfulness, senility, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, etc.), but also with physical and mental fatigue, chronic fatigue syndrome. Good results have been achieved in cases of severe gingival atrophy with high doses of coenzyme Q10. It also has a positive effect on recovery from illnesses. Resveratrol was discovered in the skin of red grapes - including red wine - and was also found in significant quantities in cocoa, dark chocolate, hazelnuts and the root of Japanese bitter gourd (Fallopia japonica). The bioavailability rate of natural resveratrol is also low. An antioxidant that plants produce for their own protection. It participates in the neutralization of free radicals, which chemically protects all cells, tissues and organs: the integrity and elasticity of blood vessel walls, prevents the development of atherosclerosis, narrowing of blood vessels and high blood pressure, thereby protecting the heart from stress. It protects dividing cells and reduces the risk of malignant degeneration. Its anti-inflammatory effect protects biological membranes from inflammatory processes taking place on their surface. The sensational discovery of animal experiments in recent years is that resveratrol increases the lifespan of cells in a unique way. During cell division, it protects the ends of the DNA strands (telomeres) of the separating and copying chromosomes from damage and mutation. Such mutations can lead to the creation of malignant (cancerous) cells. At the same time, injuries that accumulate and add up during the life of the cell are now considered to be the main factor of cell aging and then programmed cell death (apoptosis). Resveratrol protects the ends of the DNA chain from damage during the division process. The lifespan of experimental animal species was significantly increased by adding resveratrol to their feed.

The term "liposomal" means that the particles of the active ingredient are packed in a substance with a very similar composition to cell membranes (in this case soy lecithin) in the form of nano-sized bubbles. This "packaging" delivers its contents to the target cell practically without obstacles, as it is able to "melt through" its membrane. In this way, the active ingredients can reach their destination almost without loss. While coenzyme Q10 with traditional production technology or even natural coenzyme can be used with a significant loss (up to 70-80%), 96% of the active ingredients of COENZYME Q10 liquid dietary supplement can be used. In this way, it provides a significant replacement in a small dose.

The active ingredients of COENZYME Q10 support the energetics of all life processes and reduce the risk of age-related degenerative conditions. For persons under the age of 20, its consumption is unwarranted. Between the ages of 20 and 30, it is recommended in a particularly physically demanding lifestyle (competitive sports, heavy physical work) or in a psychologically and mentally stressful period of life. Over the age of 30, it is beneficial for maintaining physical, mental and spiritual fitness, and for reducing the risk of diseases or pathological conditions such as to alleviate certain heart diseases (coronary heart disease, heart rhythm disorders, high blood pressure, heart failure), degenerative diseases of the nervous system (forgetfulness, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, etc.), physical and mental fatigue and chronic fatigue syndrome. It has also been successfully used as an adjunct to medical treatment in Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis, in immunodeficiency states (also in HIV-infected and AIDS patients) in many malignant neoplasms (in preparation for surgery, to promote recovery). It is particularly useful in the treatment of gingivitis. It has been found to be effective in supplementing treatment, supporting recovery, and reducing the risk of relapses in malignant neoplasms.

Shake gently before use! If a doctor or pharmacist does not recommend otherwise, it is recommended to drink 33 drops (approx. 1 ml) once a day in any liquid (drinking water, tea, fruit juice) and mix thoroughly to improve general fitness and maintain health. It is recommended to consume it on an empty stomach. Recommended dose can be significantly influenced by age, lifestyle and state of health. In such cases, individual dosage may be justified, according to the recommendation of a doctor, dentist or pharmacist. Store in the original sealed bottle in a dark place, protected from sunlight and radiant heat, and away from children. After opening, refrigerated storage is recommended and must be consumed within 3 months. During storage, sediment may form at the bottom of the bottle. This is a natural phenomenon caused by the deposition of liposomes - it does not mean a deterioration in quality or a loss of effectiveness. For this reason, it must be shaken gently before opening! When first opened, the bottle may hiss due to overpressure. Refrigeration for 1-2 hours before opening for the first time can prevent this.

No side effects were reported during prescribed use. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose! A large overdose of the product in sensitive individuals may cause bloating, abdominal cramps and osmotic diarrhea. In all cases, this is temporary and heals on its own - it does not require medical intervention. It is not recommended to alleviate diarrhea with symptomatic drugs. The sooner the complaints disappear, the sooner the excess soy lecithin is eliminated. The preparation contains an ingredient of soy origin, which should be avoided in known soy allergies. The consumption of COENZYME Q10 liposomal liquid dietary supplement does not replace a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. This review was written for general information purposes by Dr. Csaba Gothárd, physician, dietary supplement consultant. It does not serve to treat diseases and does not replace medical care.
